In July, their creativity will unravel as they investigate arts and crafts with:

Your child can clown around and get silly with:
  • Circus Fun (July 14-18)
Let them reap the rewards of making their own play dough, bubbles, and snacks with a week of:
  • Cooking and Concoctions (July 21-25)
Learn about their world through nature walks seeking:
  • Bugs and Butterflies (August 4-8)
Our last camp will give your child the opportunity to create his/her own “Happily Ever After” as they learn about:
  • Princes and Princesses (August 11-15)

Grades 1-5 Programs

Our grades summer adventures offer a diverse selection of weekly themes while maintaining the Waldorf rhythm including daily activities such as gardening and nature walks.
  • Beauty and the Beast (June 16-20): Join us this week to explore the beautiful with a couple of days of soap making, aromatherapy, and other projects that capture the essence of beauty, while also getting "down and dirty" as children work with clay, play with mud, make beastly masks and get grimy with other messy projects.
  • Team Building and Games (June 23-27): Each day different cooperative games will be played to focus on building each child's intellectual, creative, physical and personal skills while nurturing his or her cooperative spirit.
  • Michelangelo, Monet, and Me (July 7-11): This week will ignite your child's innate curiosity and creativity with arts and handcrafts including woodworking, knitting, felting, sculpting, and painting.
  • Circus Week (July 14-18): Join us for a fun-filled week in which we will build our own stilts, tumble, learn to juggle and so much more! Watch the clown in your child emerge as we embrace the word "silly" and become true performers.
  • Cooking and Concoctions (July 21-25): Spark your child’s curiosity in the kitchen! Give your child the opportunity to develop an appreciation of cooking and science as we discover the use of natural ingredients to make both ice cream and volcanos. We will teach basic nutrition and good eating habits with an entertaining, hands-on approach using scientific experiments.
  • Drama (August 4-8): Together the children and the teachers will create a play that will teach them the basics of mindful cooperation, stage design, companionship and drama. Come join us for a Friday performance with your “little stars”.
  • Survivor Week (August 11-15): Just as the title implies, your child will learn several important and different ways to survive in the wilderness. They will learn the art of knot tying, build a fire and live the life of a “stranded islander”! Together, the children can become energized by the activities, learn new skills and build self-confidence.
